Goteki 45
Goteki 45 is an Anti-Gravity racing team based in Makana, a man-made artificial island within the Hawai'ian archipelago.
Founded in 2095, Goteki 45 was introduced alongside Assegai and Icaras as part of the push for expanded competition for the upcoming F7200 League, though their philosophy couldn't be more different from their fellow newcomers. They brought with them a reasonably bulky and heavily armoured ship, and aggressive pilots with the goal of creating as much mayhem on-track as possible. While their rivals were convinced Goteki's sole reason for entering was to dent AG racing's reputation, as antagonists from another sport franchise, the resulting increase in race eliminations actually increased viewership. It's possible that this team single-handedly set in motion the shifting trend towards more violent AG racing, resulting in the status quo of the F9000 League being geared towards delivering as much explosive action from each race as possible. However, Goteki 45 would not survive long enough to see this future era, as the team's headquarters were devastated by unknown assailants during the bombing of Makana island in 2137.
While the world of anti-gravity carried on around them - with the rise and fall of the F9000, the subsequent global depression, and amateur teams keeping the AG racing sport alive - Makana would rebuild and recover from these attacks. By 2195, Makana island was given the honour of exclusively hosting the FX300 League, 60 years after their forceful removal from the sport, and it would not be complete without the league officials eventually revealing Makana's reformed home team Goteki 45 mid-way through the 2201 season. Their new ship refocused away from the old days of simply being an aggressive battering ram, by delivering excellent acceleration, great shielding and good all-round performance in every other area. Despite this, they delivered mid-pack results which they considered to be disappointing, and their FX400 ship was designed to fully lean into this new pursuit of unparalleled acceleration, reaching the limits of overcharging engine thrust by sacrificing some speed, manoeuvrability and defensive strength.

Compared to the previous model, the Goteki 45 FX350 ship makes some sacrifices in Speed and Shield Capacity, to further prioritize their new focus on unparalleled raw acceleration.
Technical Information
Standard Chassis
- Joint-last for Top Speed
- Highest Thrust Acceleration in the field, delivering explosive launch and excellent speed recovery
- Below average Handling, with slow Turning Rate and low Ground Grip making for a drifty feel
- Average Shield Capacity
While its speed cap and sluggish turning may hinder performance on many circuits, expert pilots will be able to make full use of its aggressive acceleration, drifty cornering feel, consistent cornering speed and stable control to keep competitors on their toes in Rapier and Phantom Speed Classes.
Fury Prototype Chassis
- Top Speed upgraded to meet the overall average
- Slight improvement to Turning Rate
- Thrust Acceleration and Shield Capacity remain the same
Extensive chassis modifications put this ship closer to the baseline averages in speed and cornering ability, further supporting the team's commanding acceleration and unique drift profile.
