Mirage
Mirage is an AG racing team based in the United Arab Emirates, managed by the Mirage Anti-Gravity Excellence Centre, otherwise known as MAGEC.
With headquarters just outside the city of Dubai, MAGEC was founded by Sheikh Mani Zayed in 2202 and quickly became of a hub of technological innovation. They sought to elevate the future of advanced AG technology towards a seemingly noble goal, and develop an academy worthy to train elite pilots to participate in the AG racing leagues. In preparation for the league upgrade to FX400 standards, they also developed MAGLock technology, a powerful electromagnetic field system which would be used as Mag-Strip segments to grip ships close to the track surface even while upside-down. This would allow for the return of loops and vertical track sections for the first time in over 30 years without disrupting ship speed or systems, with successful trial runs in the FX350.
On top of this work, the Mirage racing team was formed to develop a chassis to debut in the FX350 alongside EG-X. In the meantime, their academy supplied the FX300 teams with as much talent as they could ask for. When they unveiled their own ship, it proved to be an exceptionally balanced ship in speed, acceleration, agility and combat ability, a design which primarily rewarded pilot skill and emphasised the strength of Mirage's training hub as their strategic advantage, a ship where Qirex was perhaps the closest comparison for performance.

Technical Specifications
Standard Chassis
- Average Top Speed
- Average Thrust Acceleration
- Average Handling, with balanced Turning Rate and excellent Ground Grip
- Average Shield Capacity
Absolute average capabilities make this ship suitable for all situations, while the exceptional grip keeps this ship from drifting off-line too much. Pilot skill is the key to making the most of this.
Fury Prototype Chassis
- Slight improvement to Top Speed
- Slight improvement to Thrust Acceleration
- Increased Shield Capacity increases durability in combat situations
- Turning Rate remains the same
As the only case in which Shield Capacity has increased, Mirage has opted for a more aggressive ship while also boosting engine performance.
